Francesco Molinari - (Italy) WGC - HSBC Champions Sheshan International - Shanghai - China - 4th to 7th November, 2010 Francesco Molinari claimed a stunning wire-to-wire victory at the World Golf Championships – HSBC Champions following a titanic battle with World Number One Lee Westwood. Francesco Molinari, who had claimed his only previous European Tour win at the 2006 Italian Open, carded a final round 67 to retain the one-shot lead he took into the final round at Sheshan International. Richie Ramsey and Luke Donald shared third place a distant ten strokes behind the winner. Francesco Molinari climbed 16 places to World Nº 14, a career high and then three places ahead of his brother Edoardo who was behind the 18th green to greet his victorious brother. Westwood strengthened his position as World Number One at 0.63 average points ahead of Tiger Woods in second place.

Adam Scott - (Australia) Barclays Singapore Open The Tanjong & The Serapong - Sentosa - Singapore - 11th to 14th November, 2010 Adam Scott claimed his third Barclays Singapore Open title with a composed performance at Sentosa Golf Club, completed on the Monday with ten holes of the final round remaining after a five and half hour delay for thunderstorms on the Sunday. The Australian landed his seventh European Tour title over the Serapong Course where he won in 2005 and 2006 with a closing round of 68 to finish 17 under par and three ahead of Anders Hansen. The win took Adam Scott and a former World Nº 3, to a his new number of 20th and an improvement of 21 places.

Ian Poulter - (England) UBS Hong Kong Open Hong Kong - Fanling - Hong Kong - 18th to 21st November, 2010 Ian Poulter collected his tenth European Tour title by holding off all challengers at the UBS Hong Kong Open. The 34 year old, who narrowly missed out at previous weeks Barclays Singapore Open, closed with a three under par 67 to finish with a 22 under par aggregate of 258. That was one stroke clear of compatriot Simon Dyson and Italys Matteo Manassero. This win took Poulter up to World Nº 11 and he moved up 3 places.

Robert Karlsson - (Sweden) Dubai World Championship Jumeirah Golf Estates - Dubai - United Arab Emirates - 25th to 28th November, 2010 Robert Karlsson overcame Ian Poulter in a play-off to win the Dubai World Championship presented by DP World. The pair tied on the 14 under par mark of 274 after Karlsson, three behind overnight, played the first three holes in four under and then pitched to three feet for a birdie on the 72nd hole. After halving the first play-off hole, the 18th on the Earth Course, Robert Karlsson birdied it again to win the title at the second extra hole. Karlsson jumped 20 places to Nº 16 while Poulter broke back into the World Top 10 in 8th position.

Martin Kaymer - (Germany) Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Old Course - St. Andrews - Carnoustie & Kingsbarns - Scotland - 7th to 10th October, 2010 Martin Kaymer became the first player to win three times in a row on The European Tour since Tiger Woods won four years ago as he sealed victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship with a final round of 66 over the Old Course at St. Andrews in bitterly cold and windy conditions. The 25 year old German added this title to the US PGA Championship he took in a play-off in August and the KLM Open he won comfortably last month. The win took the 25-year-old German up two places to World Nº 4 and his career best.

Matteo Manassero - (Italy) Castello Masters Costa Azahar Club de Campo del Mediterraneo - Castellon - Valencia - Spain - 21st to 24th October, 2010 Matteo Manassero rewrote the record books as he stormed to victory at the Castello Masters Costa Azahar. At 17 years old and 188 days, Manassero became the youngest winner in European Tour history and the third youngest winner on any Tour, he follows Ryo Ishikawa (15 and 245 days, 2007 Munsingwear Open – Japan Golf Tour) and Chinnarat Phadungsil (17 and five days, 2005 Double A International Open – Asian Tour). Matteo Manassero moved into the World Top 100 with a 76 place and an improvement Nº 88.

Graeme McDowell - (Northern Ireland) Andalucia Valderrama Masters Club de Golf Valderrama - Sotogrande - Spain - 28th to 31st October, 2010 Graeme McDowell held off the challenge of Gareth Maybin and Damien McGrane to claim a battling victory at the Andalucia Masters at Valderrama. On a day where strong winds made low scoring extremely difficult, McDowell went round in 74 to finish on three under, two ahead of Maybin, McGrane and Denmark’s Soren Kjeldsen. Martin Kaymer was unable to finish in the top two so Lee Westwood duly moved to the World Number One spot, ending Tiger Woods most recent 281 week reign as World Number One.

Miguel Angel Jimenez - (Spain) Omega European Masters Crans-sur-Sierre - Crans Montana - Switzerland - 2nd to 5th September, 2010 Miguel Angel Jimenez’s golf was as impressive as the mountain top views of Crans-sur-Sierre as he stormed to an emphatic three shot win at the Omega European Masters. It was the Spaniards third victory of the season after wins in Dubai and France, and saw him rubber stamp his qualification for the European Ryder Cup Team after fending off the all Italian challenge of Edoardo Molinari, and young sensation of Matteo Manassero. As a result of this win Jimenez climbed 11 places in the Ranking to Nº 27.

Martin Kaymer - (Germany) KLM Open Hilversumsche - Hilversum - Netherlands - 9th to 12th September, 2010 Current Race to Dubai leader Martin Kaymer strolled to a commanding three shot victory at the KLM Open at Hilversumsche Golf Club. The German always looked in control during the final round, and the week turned out to be the perfect preparation for his Ryder Cup debut full of confidence. The comfortable victory sees the 25-year-old move up one position to Nº 5 in the World Ranking.

Jose Manuel Lara - (Spain) Austrian Golf Open Diamond - Atzenbrugg - Austria - 16th to 19th September, 2010 Jose Manuel Lara won his first European Tour title for four years after a final round 64 then beating David Lynn in a play-off at the Austrian Golf Open. Both players had finished 17 under par at Diamond Country Club, but Lynn needed three shots to find the green on the first extra hole and when he two-putted Lara was able to win with a par. Lara moved to Nº 213 with a jump of 156 places.

John Parry - (England) Vivendi Cup 2010 Golf de Joyenval - Chambourcy - Paris - France - 23rd to 26th September, 2010 John Parry won the Vivendi Cup and became the fourth 2009 Challenge Tour graduate to win on the 2010 European Tour. He follows: Rhys Davies (Trophee Hassan II) and James Morrison (Madeira Islands Open – Portugal) and Edoardo Molinari (The Barclays Scottish Open and Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles). A member of the 2007 Walker Cup team which included Davies and Rory McIlroy, Parrys two-under-par final round of 70 gave him a 2 stroke win over Swedens Johan Edfors. Parry jumps into the World Top 200 with a 131 place improvement to Nº 176

Hunter Mahan - (USA) WGC - Bridgestone Invitational Firestone - Akron - Ohio - USA - 5th to 8th August, 2010 The USA golfer Hunter Mahan took victory with a two stroke lead over his fellow American Ryan Palmer. South African Retief Goosen and American Bo Van Pelt followed with a further two strokes behind. This was his second win on the European Tour with 59 attempts. He moved to 31st position in the World Rankings.

He moved to 17th in the World Rankings and 24th in the Race to Dubai.

Peter Hanson - (Sweden) Czech Open 2010 Prosper - Celadna - Czech Republic - 19th to 22nd August, 2010 The Swedish golfer Peter Hanson claimed a victory over his nearest rivals in a playoff against Peter Lawrie from Ireland and Gary Boyd from England. This was his sixth win on the Tour and moved him to 373 position in the World Rankings.

Edoardo Molinari - (Italy) Johnnie Walker Championship Gleneagles - Perthshire - Scotland - 26th to 29th August, 2010 This win was Edoardo Molinaris second win on the European Tour beating Brett Rumford from Australia by just the one stroke. This victory moved him to 149 place in the World Rankings and 131 in the Race to Dubai.

Miguel Angel Jimenez - (Spain) Alstom Open de France Le Golf National - Paris - France - 1st to 4th July, 2010 Miguel Angel Jimenez won the Alstom Open de France at Le Golf National by beating compatriot Alejandro Canizares and Italian Francesco Molinari in sudden death after he had gone in the water when two clear on the final hole of regulation play. His par at the first extra hole, the same 18th hole he had just double bogeyed, was enough for victory and he becomes the oldest winner of continental Europes oldest golf title. The win takes him to World Number 32, a jump of 18 place.

Edoardo Molinari - (Italy) The Barclays Scottish Open Loch Lomond - Glasgow - Scotland - 8th to 11th July, 2010 Italian Edoardo Molinari won the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond. One ahead after his dazzling third round of 63. Edoardo closed with a 74 in the much tougher conditions and, with a 12 under par total of 272, took the €601,599 first prize by three strokes from Darren Clarke. Rafael Jacquelin holed at 40 foot putt for birdie on the 18th for 3rd place alone while Edoardos brother Francesco, playing with his sibling in the final group, finished in a tie for fourth place with Stephen Gallacher and Peter Hedblom. The win took Molinari into the World Top 20 with a 22 place jump to World Number 19.

Louis Oosthuizen - (South Africa) The 139th Open Championship St. Andrews - Old Course - Fife - Scotland - 15th to 18th July, 2010 South African Louis Oosthuizen won the 139th Open Golf Championship by seven strokes from Lee Westwood over the Old Course at St. Andrews. He started the final day with a four stroke lead which after eight holes had been trimmed to three, but an eagle at the ninth and a birdie at the twelfth to Paul Caseys triple-bogey seven gave Oosthuizen the lead by eight. Westwood birdied the final hole after rescuing a five when in trouble at the seventeenth, which gave him outright second place. Louis Oosthuizen climbs to a career best as 15th in the Official World Golf Ranking from the 54th place.

Richard S. Johnson - (Sweden) Nordea Scandinavian Masters Bro Hof Slott - Stockholm - Sweden - 22nd to 25th July, 2010 Richard S Johnson became only the second home player in the last 12 years to win the Nordea Scandinavian Masters after a 30-foot birdie putt saw him triumph by one over Rafa Echenique. The Swede, now based in America, has struggled on the greens all year but a closing 71 was enough to see him delight the home support. His second European victory has propelled the 33-year-old almost 150 places up the ranking and inside the top 200 at 189.

Ross Fisher - (England) 3 Irish Open Killarney - Co Kerry - Ireland - 29th to 1st August, 2010 The big hitting Englishman made another big impression on the game with his victory in the 3 Irish Open on Sunday and having moved into the world’s top 20 and well up The Ryder Cup Points List and the foundations are in place for a great few months. Firestone Country Club, with its length and tight fairways and premium on good driving could be right up Fishers street as he looks to build on his success in Killarney. He threatened a sub-60 round on Friday before settling for a 61 and despite being caught by the home favorite Padraig Harrington, responded in the manner of a true champion to edge clear. He has the benefit of the vastly experienced Phil Morbey, (aka Wobbly), on his bag now and that can only help his cause as Wobbly has seen it all having caddied for Ian Woosnam and Jose Maria Olazabal, two of Europes great champions. Fisher will not get carried away by his 3rd Irish Open victory and signs are good for him for continued success.

Graeme McDowell - (Northern Ireland) The Celtic Manor Wales Open Celtic Manor - City of Newport - Wales - 3rd to 6th June, 2010 Northern Irelands Graeme McDowell also consolidated his position in the Worlds Top 50 with victory at the Celtic Manor Wales Open for an eight place jump to World Number 36. A closing 63 for a 15 under par total of 269 gave McDowell, (being winless since the 2008 Barclays Scottish Open), the €350,940 first prize by three and left Rhys Davies a runner-up for the second week running, but with the consolation of a place in the World Top 50 at 45th.

Graeme McDowell - (Northern Ireland) U.S. Open Championship Pebble Beach - California - USA - 17th to 29th June, 2010 Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland won the US Open Championship at Pebble Beach with a final round of 74 for a level par total and one stroke victory over French Qualifier Gregory Havret. McDowell becomes the first European winner of the US Open since Tony Jacklin 40 years ago. Ernie Els finished third on two over par after a 73 and the worlds first and second-ranked golfers Woods (75) and Mickelson (73) tied for fourth a further shot back. The win took McDowell to a career high World Number 13, with an improvement of 24 places.

Martin Wiegele - (Austria) Saint-Omer Open Aa St Omer - France - 17th to 20th June, 2010 Martin Wiegele shot a final round 68 to make up a three shot deficit to overnight leader Jamie Elson and claim his maiden European Tour title at the Aa St Omer Open. He finished two clear of a chasing pack that included the third round leader and home favorite Raphael Jacquelin. This victory that made him only the second Austrian to win on the European Tour after Markus Brier. The win saw Martin Wiegele jump over 150 places up the Rankings to Nº 229.

David Horsey - (England) BMW International Open Golfclub Munchen Eichenried - Munich - Germany - 24th to 27th June, 2010 David Horsey won the BMW International Open at Golfclub Munchen Eichenried in Germany with his third successive 67 with a one stroke win over Ross Fisher who eagled the par five 18th to take the runner-up spot. Horsey climbed into the World Top 100 cutting his World Ranking in half from 188th to 94th.

Fredrik Andersson Hed - (Sweden) BMW Italian Open Royal Park I - Roveri - Turin - Italy - 6th to 9th May, 2010 Swedens Fredrik Andersson Hed withstood a charge from Englands David Horsey on a tense final day in Turin to win the BMW Italian Open and claim his first European Tour title at this 245th attempt. Fredrik Andersson Hed took a commanding six stroke advantage into the final round in Turin after a brilliant third round nine under par 63 and his final round of 73 was enough for a two stroke victory and a 125 place jump to World Nº 152.

Peter Hanson - (Sweden) Iberdrola Open Cala Millor Mallorca Pula - Son Servera - Mallorca - Spain -13th to 16th May 2010 Swedens Peter Hanson overcame a one-shot penalty for a double hit to win the Iberdrola Open Cala Millor Mallorca at Pula, his third European Tour title in a play-off with Spains Alejandro Canizares. Birdie putts of 12 and 30 feet at the 15th and 17th brought him level, then he saved par from a bunker at the last and then won when Canizares failed to get up and down from the same trap on the first extra hole. Peter Hanson broke back into the World Top 50 in Nº 45 place and gained exemption from the US Open if he can stay in the World Top 50 for just one more week.

Simon Khan - (England) BMW PGA Championship Wentworth Club - Virginia Water - Surrey - England - 20th to 23rd May, 2010 The English golfer Simon Khan added his second victory on the European Tour with his win at Wentworth. He held his one stroke lead over Ferdrik Andersson Hed from Sweden and Luke Donald from England. This victory moved him to 865th place in the World Rankings and 221st in the race to Dubai.

Luke Donald - (England) Madrid Masters Real Sociedad Hipica Espanola Club de Campo - Madrid - Spain - 27th to 30th May, 2010 His success at Madrid brought the total Tour wins to a total of 7 with 149 attempts. He was just the one stroke ahead of his rival from Wales, Rhys Davies. This victory moved Luke Donald into 60th position in the World Rankings and 29th in the Race to Dubai.

Phil Mickelson - (USA) Masters Tournament Augusta National - Augusta - Georgia - USA - 08th to 11th April, 2010 Phil Mickelson picked up a third Masters Tournament victory in seven years with a final round of 67 for a 16-under-par total of 272, ahead of Lee Westwood who shot a final round of 71 for second place. The Champion at Augusta in 2004 and 2006 and with a US PGA title in between, Phil Mickelsons bogey free final round gave him his fourth Major Championship win. Phil Mickelson moves back to World Nº 2 leaving a gap between himself and Tiger Woods who finished fourth.

Y. E. Yang - (South Korea) Volvo China Open Suzhou Jinji Lake - Suzhou - China - 15th to 19th April, 2010 At the European Tour and OneAsia Tour co-sanctioned Volvo China Open the US PGA Champion Y.E. Yang secured a two stroke victory over the two Welshmen, Rhys Davies and Stephen Dodd. He headed back to his native South Korea for the Ballentines Championship that week as the World Nº 20 with a jump of 6 places.

Marcus Fraser - (Australia) Ballantines Championship Pinx - Jeju Island - South Korea - 22nd to 25th April, 2010 Australias Marcus Fraser won the Ballantines Championship by four shots as a battling three under par final round 69 secured a wire-to-wire victory and his first in seven years. The 31 year old topped the leader-board at 12 under par after dropping just two shots in three rounds of the weather-affected 54-hole tournament at Pinx Golf Club. Northern Irelands Gareth Maybin shared second place with Australias Brett Rumford. The win sees Marcus Fraser jump into the World Top 100 at 98th place, a leap of 134 positions in the World Golf Ranking.

Alvaro Quiros - (Spain) Open de Espana Real Club de Golf de Sevilla - Seville - Spain - 29th to 2nd May, 2010 Alvaro Quiros has joined Seve Ballesteros and Sergio Garcia as the only home winners of the Open de Espana since 1972. At 35th in the world, Alvaro Quiros was the highest-ranked player in the field at the Real Club de Golf in Seville. He grabbed his fourth European Tour title with a par on the first hole of a play-off with English rookie James Morrison and jumped to World Nº 31.

Seungyul Noh - (South Korea) Maybank Malaysian Open Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia - 4th to 7th March, 2010 South Korean Seung-yul Noh born in May 1991 became the youngest professional in history to win an European Tour event when he edged out compatriot K J Choi to claim the Maybank Malaysian Open following a dramatic finale at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. Seungyul Noh won on the Asian Tour in 2008 and now holds cards in Asia, Europe and Japan. The win takes the teenager to Nº 130 and a jump up of 136 places.

Ernie Els - (South Africa) WGC - CA Championship Doral Golf - Florida - USA - 11th to 14th March, 2010 Ernie Els ended two years without a win in superb style at the WGC-CA Championship in Miami with a final round of 66 for an 18-under-par total and four stroke win over fellow South African house guest Charl Schwartzel. Three strokes further back in joint third were German Martin Kaymer, American Matt Kuchar and Irelands Padraig Harrington. The win puts Els back into the Official World Golf Ranking Top 10, a place where he has spent more weeks - 759 now - than any other player since the Rankings started in 1986. Ernie Els moved to Nº 8 with a jump of 12 places.

Rhys Davies - (Wales) Trophee Hassan II Royal Golf Dar Es Salam - Rabat - Morocco - 18th to 21st March, 2010 Rhys Davies secured his maiden European Tour title at the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco as he overhauled Louis Oosthuizen to win by two shots. The 24 year old Welshman was two behind the South African going into the final round, but shot a seven under 66 to Oosthuizens 70 at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam to finish 25 under. Rhys Davies entered comfortably into the World Top 100 as he climbed 40 places to Nº 81.

Louis Oosthuizen - (Holland) Open de Andalucia de Golf Parador de Malaga - Malaga - Spain - 25th to 28th March, 2010 Louis Oosthuizen won the Open de Golf de Andalucia in Malaga, Southern Spain and earns a spot at the Masters Tournament as a result. Oosthuizen ended up three strokes ahead of his nearest rivals Richard Finch from England and Peter Whiteford from Scotland. He climbed to Nº 26 position in the World Rankings and 4th in the Race to Dubai.

Miguel Angel Jimenez - (Spain) Omega Dubai Desert Classic Emirates - Dubai - United Arab Emirates - 4th to 7th February, 2010 Miguel Angel Jimenez courageously edged out European Nº 1 Lee Westwood on the third play-off hole to win the Omega Dubai Desert Classic following a thrilling final day at the Emirates Golf Club. The pair had both shot final rounds of 72 to edge out fellow overnight leader Thongchai Jaidee. The win took Jimenez comfortably back into the World Top 50 with a 30 place jump to Nº 30. That weeks other winners were Jim Herman at the Moonah Classic co-sanctioned by the Australasia & Nationwide Tours and Gaganjeet Bhullar at the Asian Tour International on the Asian Tour.

Andrew Dodt - (Australia) Avantha Masters DLF - New Delhi - India - 11th to 14th February, 2010 Australias Andrew Dodt won the inaugural Avantha Masters at the DLF Golf and Country Club after carding a final round four-under-par 68 for a total of 14-under-par 274. A sublime bunker shot on the final hole helped Andrew Dodt secure a birdie and win his maiden Asian Tour title by a single shot ahead of Englands Richard Finch who closed with a 66 to take second place with 275. The victory took Andrew Dodt to Nº 110 with an improvement of 85 places.

Charl Schwartzel - (South Africa) Africa Open East London - Eastern Cape - South Africa - 7th to 10th January, 2010 Charl Schwartzel claimed his fourth European Tour title after his final round of 67 which was good enough to help him secure the Africa Open in East London. The South African as the highest World Ranked player in the field ended with a total of 272 - 20 under par overall - to edge out joint-overnight leader Thomas Aiken by one stroke. The win took Charl Schwartzel to the fringes of the World Top 50 with a 15 place leap to Nº 51.

Charl Schwartzel - (South Africa) Joburg Open Royal Johannesburg & Kensington - South Africa - 14th to 17th January, 2010 Charl Schwartzel followed up on his win in the previous week at the Africa Open with this win in Johannesburg. He finished a solid six strokes of his nearest rivals, Darren Clarke from Northern Ireland and fellow South African Keith Horne. This ninth European Tour win placed him 40th in the World Rankings and 18th in the race to Dubai.

Karlsson missed the middle of the 2009 season with an eye injury but the win placed him on track for a third successive Ryder Cup appearance. The victory at Doha has also took Robert Karlsson back into the World Top 20 as he climbed 14 places to World Nº 17.
