Australian golfer Wade Ormsby won his maiden Tour title in Hong Kong by one stroke. In tied second place were Alexander Bjorn from Sweden, Rafa Cabrera Bello from Spain, with both Paul Peterson and Julian Suri from the USA. Wade Ormsby moved to 101 position in the World Rankings and also took 1st place in the new Race to Dubai.

Spanish golfer Jon Rahm claimed the coveted World Championship in Dubai by one stroke advantage against a challenging field. In equal second place was Irelands Shane Lowry and Thailands Kiradech Aphibarnrat. Four players tied for three place, Dean Burmester, Dylan Frittelli, Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose. This was the second won on Tour for Jon Rahm and he moved to 4th position in the World Rankings.

The ever popular Sergio Garcia won the “Masters” in Augusta! This was Sergio’s 73rd attempt of a Masters win and it also fell happily on the birth date of his golf idol Ballesteros. This win moved Sergio into 7th place in the World Rankings and 1st in the Race for Dubai.
